Custom Dekton Entzo Floating Staircase Fabrication, Nairobi

A bespoke floating staircase designed and fabricated in Nairobi, Kenya by the Elegant Fittings workshop, using Dekton Entzo to bring the warmth and realism of natural marble into a high-traffic architectural feature. Each tread is precisely cut and fitted to a concealed steel frame, creating a light, sculptural form that anchors the space.

The client wanted a centerpiece staircase with the look of natural marble, without the maintenance demands or fragility that come with it. The design called for slim, floating treads that would let light pass through the structure and feel open rather than enclosed.

The staircase was engineered with a dark steel frame supporting individually fabricated Dekton Entzo treads, finished in matte. The result combines the realism of Calacatta Gold veining with the durability and scratch resistance of an ultra-compact surface, giving the client a feature staircase built to perform as well as it looks.
