Custom Sensa Orinoco Granite Entrance Flooring, Nairobi, Kenya

A bespoke entrance flooring feature designed and fabricated in Nairobi, Kenya by the Elegant Fittings workshop, placing Sensa Orinoco granite at the heart of the main entrance, framed by Caesarstone Pure White and Black Tempal. The wild gold, copper and white veining of the Orinoco inset becomes the focal point of the space, set against a clean black and white geometric border.

The client wanted the main entrance to make an immediate visual statement, with a flooring feature dramatic enough to anchor the space without competing with the surrounding wood paneling and staircase. The design called for a bold natural stone centerpiece balanced by a restrained, structured surround.

Sensa Orinoco was fabricated and set as a feature inset at the center of the entrance floor, its white, gold and copper veining left to stand as the visual focus. Caesarstone Pure White was used to frame the inset, with Black Tempal forming the surrounding floor field, creating a graphic, high-contrast border that draws the eye toward the granite centerpiece. The result is an entrance floor that reads as a deliberate piece of design, combining the uniqueness of natural granite with the consistency of engineered quartz.
