Do Caesarstone quartz countertops need sealing?

No. Caesarstone is non-porous, so it never needs sealing. Clean it with soap and water and follow the manufacturer's care guidance.

Is quartz better than granite for a kitchen?

For an indoor kitchen, quartz is generally the lower-maintenance choice. It is non-porous so it never needs sealing, and colour is consistent from slab to slab. Granite offers natural variation that many people prefer, but most granite needs periodic sealing.

Can you put a hot pan on Caesarstone?

Use a trivet. Engineered quartz contains resin, so direct contact with very hot cookware can damage the surface. For direct heat contact, Dekton is the better choice.

Can Caesarstone be used outdoors in Kenya?

Caesarstone is designed for indoor use. Prolonged direct sunlight can affect colour over time. For outdoor kitchens and sun-exposed surfaces, specify Dekton instead.
